This final screenshot has what zero points after and single spacing looks like. The following screenshot I changed the Word document example to zero points after using the Page Layout tab–>Paragraph group–>after section. Let’s now look at a document with the default settings. To open this, click the tiny arrow pointing down in the corner of the Paragraph group of the Home tab in either Word 2007 or Word 2010. This makes it look as though you have pressed return twice after a paragraph. The first screen shot you see here is a dialog box of the default paragraph settings. Word allows you to customize the line spacing to be single spaced (one line high), double spaced (two lines high), or any other amount you want. Let me first start by explaining what is a point.
